It’s all about the body and the blood.
The Exorcist: Believer–the much-hyped sequel to the 1973 Oscar-nominated horror classic–is headed to the big screen just before Halloween, and a new poster has dropped that showcases a moody church backdrop. Check it out on this page.
The R-rated Blumhouse/Universal pic–hitting theaters Oct. 13–is directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay he wrote with Scott Teems, Danny McBride and Peter Sattler.
In the sequel, Victor Fielding (Leslie Odom Jr.) is raising his daughter Angela (Lidya Jewett) alone since his wife’s death but, one day, Angela and her friend Katherine (Olivia Marcum) disappear in the woods.
They return three days later–with no memory of what happened–and then a chain of events begins “that forces Victor to confront evil. And find the one person who has seen something like this before: Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn).”
