The eight-part series follows “an unknown enemy from the depths of the sea that strikes back in retaliation of the reckless treatment of the world’s oceans,” according to the logline.

The Swarm stars Alexander Karim, Cecile de France, Leonie Benesch, Barbara Sukowa and Takuya Kimura.

Frank Doelger (Game of Thrones) serves as executive producer, along with Eric Welbers.
