Our Thoughts: Well comic fans, once again Mignola and Allie pull it off. As always, Abe Sapien #16 is nonstop action combined with great story telling. Issue #16 shows the different aspects of what apocalyptic situations can bring out in humanity, from the evil, to the bizarre, to a group worshiping Abe. Sebastian Fiumara’s artwork is bloody awesome. He is not only able to keep up with the turmoil, but embellish it just the right amount. All I can say is Abe versus wolf pack…
Mignola and Allie have done a masterful job at keeping the balance of a precise amount of turmoil mixed with a weighty and engrossing plotline. This is what has made the Abe Sapien series without question, one of the best of this last year. Abe Sapien #16 out September 10th.
