DVD & Blu-ray Releases: April 7, 2015

Another slow week, fiends.  But keep tuning in… In the upcoming weeks there will be more than 50 new horror releases for you to salivate over.  Until then, check out the Blu-ray release of 1986’s Invaders From Mars and the DVD release of [REC] 4: Apocalypse.  Remember Ryan Reynolds?  Yeah, he did a horror comedy called The Voices as well that comes out this week.  Pleasant viewing.

The Burning Dead (2015)

Synopsis:

After Native American warrior Night Wolf (Danny Trejo) warns about a cursed mountain range, Devil’s Peak, a volcano thought to be dormant in the region suddenly erupts! Along with the deadly lava that soon covers the countryside, zombified forms of long-dead settlers who were swallowed by the volcano also shoot out, rising up just as Night Wolf warned. Now everyone nearby must flee from the lava while fighting off the burning, lava-filled zombies brought to life by the ancient curse!

Darkside Witches (2014)

Synopsis:

Six innocent women in Northern Italy were found guilty of witchcraft and burned at the stake during the Holy Inquisition. In acceptance; the women are brought back to life several centuries later as witches with evil powers that are used to destroy the Church and all who serve it. Father Don Gabriel, a courageous Priest and Exorcist, is sent to investigate numerous mysterious and ritualistic sacrifices in the countryside where the witches dwell. Like some of the other children David has already decided to fall when the time comes, but he has his own reasons: The Angel killed his mother.

The Voices (2015)

Synopsis:

Guided by his evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog, Jerry must decide whether to keep striving for normalcy, or indulge in a much more sinister path.
