Duffer Brothers Are “Hard At Work” On ‘Stranger Things 5’

The final chapter is taking shape.

Fans are chomping at the bit for any news about the fifth and final season of the Netflix horror hit Stranger Things. And while the actors’ and writers’ strikes threw a monkey wrench into the works, the screenwriters–especially show creators Matt and Ross Duffer–are back on the job and doing their thing.

And producer/director Shawn Levy recently told The Wrap that the Duffers are “hard at work” while they wait impatiently for the SAG-AFTRA strike to wind down..

“I can say we’re hoping to start filming as soon as possible,” Levy said. “We really need the actors’ strike resolved first. The Duffers have been hard at work since the writers’ strike ended.”

Levy added that the cast and crew “are raring to go. Hundreds of our crew members have not been able to make a living since the strikes began, but we’ll be shooting very shortly after the actors’ strike ends.”
