Tony Todd’s iconic Candyman character has been replicated–in a 1/3-scale statue–by Premium Collectibles Studios. Check out photo of the collectible–courtesy of Toyark–on this page.
Available now for pre-orders for $1,300, the statue is based on the sequel Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh and stands 28 inches tall and 19 inches wide. Wearing his classic brown fur jacket, Candyman poses atop a base covered with blood-covered skulls, bare ribs, hand-painted bees and a honeycomb.
The statue–which boasts a blood-soaked hook and a swap-out portrait featuring Candyman releasing a swarm of loyal bees from his mouth–is expected to ship between July and September of 2024.
The 1995 slasher Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh was directed by Bill Condon from a screenplay by Rand Ravich and Mark Kruger. Starring Todd, Kelly Rowan and William O’Leary, the film follows a New Orleans schoolteacher who is targeted by the powerful spirit of the murdered son of a slave known as the Candyman.
