Don Mancini has already pitched fourth season of ‘Chucky’

“I’m one of the most notorious slashers in history, and I don’t want to give that up. I am Chucky, the killer doll, and I dig it.”

Chucky has been through a lot lately. And, if series creator Don Mancini has his way, the killer doll’s not through yet. In speaking with The Direct, Mancini divulged that he has already pitched a fourth season to Syfy and USA Network.

“There’s very little I can say about that. I can’t tell you my idea for Season 4, but I’m really excited about it,” said Mancini “I already pitched it to the network. So, fingers crossed because it’s something I really like to do.”

If season four of Chucky is greenlit, Mancini has a different direction for it: “I think it’s really fun, new, and again, another left turn in terms of what we’ve been doing so far,” he said. “We don’t know the status of the show yet. So again, fingers crossed that we will get picked up, right?”

The second half of season three is currently airing on Syfy and USA.
