First, he conquered the big screen–now the good doctor is making a house call..

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness–which has already set all sorts of box office records for 2022–will conjure up an appearance on Disney+ starting June 22. Check out the video–courtesy of comicbook.com–that has four of the film’s stars breaking the news.

The blockbuster sequel–directed by horror legend Sam Raimi–has affected Doctor Strange as much as his millions of fans, according to screenwriter Michael Waldron. “The Multiverse has forced a mirror up in front of his face,” Waldron said in a recent interview, “and has made him do some self-reflecting that he’s refused to ever do.”

Waldron explained that “there’s been some forced self-reflection over the course of this adventure, and I think he’s probably more capable than ever at working as part of a team.” Since there seems little doubt there will be a third Doctor Strange feature somewhere down the line, this change in the sorcerer may prove interesting.

In the successful sequel–starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong and Xochitl Gomez–Strange opens a mystic portal to the Multiverse and seeks help from the Scarlet Witch and Wong to combat “a terrible threat looming over humanity.”
