It Lives Inside–a new horror thriller from Neon–will hit theaters this fall (stay tuned for an exact date), and a frightening trailer dropped this week to set the mood. Check out the video on this page.
The feature–from writer/director Bishal Dutta (based on an original story by Dutta and Ashish Mehta)–follows Sam, who is desperate to fit in at school–rejecting her Indian culture and family to be like everyone else.
But, “when a mythological demonic spirit latches onto her former best friend, Sam must come to terms with her heritage in order to defeat it.”
The cast includes Megan Suri (Missing), Neeru Bajwa (Jatt & Juliet), Mohana Krishnan (I Am Frankie), Vik Sahay (Captain Marvel) and Betty Gabriel (Get Out).
Raymond Mansfield and Sean McKittrick produced the film, with Edward H. Hamm Jr., Jameson Parker, Arielle Voisvert and Shawn Williamson on board as executive producers.
