“Dani, do you feel held by him? Does he feel like home to you?”

Horror fans can circle June 20th on their calendar as the Director’s Cut of Midsommar is coming to IMAX theaters for one day.

A24 described the film as “Dani and Christian are a young American couple with a relationship on the brink of falling apart. But after a family tragedy keeps them together, a grieving Dani invites herself to join Christian and his friends on a trip to a once-in-a-lifetime midsummer festival in a remote Swedish village. What begins as a carefree summer holiday in a land of eternal sunlight takes a sinister turn when the insular villagers invite their guests to partake in festivities that render the pastoral paradise increasingly unnerving and viscerally disturbing.”

Directed by Ari Aster, Midsommar stars Florence Pugh, Jack Reynor, William Jackson Harper, Vilhelm Blomgren, Ellora Torchia, Archie Madekwe, and Will Poulter. Produced by A24, the film was released on July 3, 2019 and earned $48 million at the box office against a budget of $9 million.
