Dick Giordano passes away

Today we learned that Dick Giordano has passed away at the age of 77.

Dick was best known for introducing Charlton Comics’ “Action Heroes” stable of superheroes, and serving as executive editor of then industry-leader DC Comics. As an inker, Giordano is well known for his pairings with penciler Neal Adams in a series of critically acclaimed comics featuring Batman, Green Lantern, and Green Arrow.

In addition to that, Dick had worked on many horror titles including: Dracula Lives, Legion of Monsters, Creepy, Eerie, Witching Hour, The Unexpected, Secrets of Sinister House, Strange Suspense Stories, House of Secrets and many, many more.
