Devil’s Night release info and trailer

News on the Devil's Night movie release has come from the Danielle Harris Facebook Fanpage. was getting an official release and you can actually pre-order the film now. Judging by the trailer the film is a definite homage to older horror slashers and might be a fun watch. The film will be released on October 30th 2012. The movie is described as: It's Devil's Night and a group of frat boys are holding their annual Halloween party. Sex, booze, drugs and rock 'n roll are all accustomed ingredients for a good time until an uninvited guest spoils the recipe. A horrific accident from the year before has Tommy (Steve Byers – House of the Dead, Immortals) believing that a machete-wielding maniac is hunting him and his friends in an act of revenge. He has a difficult time trying to convince his girlfriend Nancy (Danielle Harris – Rob Zombie's Halloween I & II, Hatchet II) and his best friend Clark (Shawn Roberts – Resident Evil: Afterlife, Diary of the Dead, Land of the Dead) that their lives are in danger despite witn the apparent strangulation of a fellow housemate. The police write the account off as a drug induced hallucination and concentrate their investigation on local psychotic pig farmer, Michael Lymburner (Boyd Banks – Dawn of the Dead, Diary of the Dead, Pontypool). One by one, the students keep disappearing as the masked killer closes in on Tommy. Devil's Night is hailed as an homage to 80's slasher horror that will have you overwrought with fear from beginning to end.
