The CW has picked up yet another pilot. This time ‘Dead People’, which comes from Californication creator Tom Kapinos and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot. The supernatural drama will be about a cab driver who has a near death experience and gains the ability to see ghosts, including his deceased ex-wife. Kapinos is writing and producing, along with Warner Bros. TV, Bad Robot’s Abrams and Byran Burke, as well as Kapinos’ Aggressive Mediocrity. Kapinos is also hoping that Fox will pick up his DC/WBTV ‘Lucifer’ pilot.
