Level 99 Games has teamed with Behaviour Interactive to bring fans a board game based on the hit horror video game Dead by Daylight.
Dead by Daylight: The Board Game will be available for pre-order on Kickstarter in two versions. The standard edition is priced at $49.99 USD and includes 6 Killers, 7 Survivors, and 2 maps. The collector’s edition is priced at $99.99 USD and includes 16 Killers, 17 Survivors, and 4 maps.
“As fans of the original video game, we worked hard to capture the tension between the Survivors and the Killer on every turn,” says D. Brad Talton Jr, the designer behind the game. “The moment when you commit to your move and then have to hold your breath while the Killer makes their play—to me that’s the essence of Dead by Daylight.”
Created by Behaviour Interactive, Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action horror game of hide and seek where one player takes the role of the Killer while the other four play as Survivors. The game boasts more than 48 million players both globally and across all platforms. Since its release in 2016, the game has become more popular including characters from legendary horror movies including Halloween, Saw, Evil Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hellraiser and more.
