David Fincher Talks about The Goon

Superherohype sat down with director David Fincher who updated them on two forthcoming adaptations that have been in development hell for a few years now. First up is Fincher, Blur Studios and Dark Horse Comic’s series. The movie is set to feature the voices of Clancy Brown and Paul Giamatti. The story follows Goon, a muscle-bound brawler, and his sidekick Franky who claim to be the primary enforcers for the feared mobster Labrazio. According to Fincher, “Eric [Powell]’s been working on it and Tim’s been working on it, and Jeff (Fowler),” he tells the site. “People continue to work on it and refine stuff, but it’s hard for me because I’m in Sweden, so I can’t really make many production meetings, but the attempt is to in January really go out and try and figure out a price that makes sense.” We know HNN fans are looking forward to this one!
