An American in Paris was never like this.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon–another highly anticipated spinoff of the AMC zombie phenomenon–is currently shooting in Paris for a debut later this year (stay tuned for an exact date), and a trailer is now here to tease the overseas horrors. Check out the video on this page.
The series–starring Norman Reedus (reprising his titular role)–is led by showrunner David Zabel and executive producer Angela Kang. The rest of the cast includes Clemence Poesy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebanouey, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi.
In the spinoff, set after the conclusion of The Walking Dead, Dixon finds himself in France–and in a world gone mad. Poesy plays Isabelle, “a member of a progressive religious group who joins forces with Dixon on a journey across France,” according to the synopsis.
And Nagaitis plays Quinn, “a displaced Brit who has become powerful in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black marketeer and the owner of the underground nightclub Demimonde.”
Reedus said this new show has “a different tone, a different light and a different sound. It’s epic in scale–and the tone is so good and moody.”
