‘Daryl Dixon’ Spinoff Reveals First Look At French Walkers

Hey zombies, parlez-vous francais?

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon–the Norman Reedus-led AMC spinoff–is filming now in Paris for a debut later this year (stay tuned for an exact date), and several photos of the new batch of Walkers (and Dixon) have arrived. Check out the Twitter post on this page.

Led by showrunner David Zabel and executive producer Angela Kang, the series also stars Clemence Poesy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebanouey, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi.

In the spjnoff, Dixon washes ashore in France “and struggles to piece together how he got there and why,” according to the synopsis. As he journeys across a “broken, but resilient, France, he hopes to find a way back home–but the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”

Reedus called his new show “very different. It has a different tone, a different light and a different sound. It’s epic in scale–and the tone is so good and moody.”
