In the clip, Clemence Poesy talks about her role as the nun named Isabelle and her resistance group known as the Union of Hope. “She’s a nun,” Poesy explains, “but she’s on a specific kind of a mission. She’s part of a resistance network called the Union of Hope. They’re trying to regain some kind of faith in the possibility that humanity will get out of this test they believe they’re enduring.”
The series–kicking off on AMC Sept. 10–is led by showrunner David Zabel and stars Norman Reedus in his fan-favorite Daryl Dixon role. In the show, Dixon finds himself washed ashore in zombie-infested France, with no clue how he got there.
As Dixon tries to find his way home to Alexandria, Virginia, he’s recruited for a mission–to bring a young boy named Laurent across the country. And this mission may somehow help fight the dangerous Walkers.
Rounding out the cast are Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebanouey, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levy and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi.
