Let’s get ready to rumble.

Pro wrestling legend Chris Jericho is going the way of John Cena and Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, starring in the wrestling-themed horror pic Dark Match, which recently wrapped shooting in Edmonton, Canada, according to a report on Deadline.

The Dept. 9 Studios film–which doesn’t yet have a release window–follows a small-time wrestling operation that accepts a “high-paying gig in a backwoods town, only to discover that the community is run by a mysterious cult leader with devious plans for the matches,” according to the synopsis.

The feature–written and directed by Lowell Dean (Wolfcop)–also stars Ayisha Issa (Transplant), Steven Ogg (The Walking Dead), Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries), Michael Eklund (Wynonna Earp) and Jonathan Cherry (Goon).

Jericho also serves as one of the film’s producers–along with John MacDonald, Don Depoe, Michael Feehan, Rhonda Baker and Michael Peterson.
