Damien Leone Already Hard At Work On Script For ‘Terrifier 3’

OK, now that’s terrifying.

Terrifier 2–the bloody sequel to the 2016 slasher–ripped its way into theaters last October and, looking to capitalize on its success, writer/director Damien Leone is already writing the screenplay for another entry, according to a report on Insider.

The filmmaker said he is “writing Terrifier 3 as we speak. I definitely want to make at least one more–but there may be two in order to tell this story and tackle all the ideas I have in my head.”

Leone added that “there’s a lot more to explore with Art the Clown, the Pale Girl, Victoria and Sienna as our Final Girl. We’ll be following her journey to the end of the franchise.”

In Terrifier 2, David Howard Thornton returned as Art the Clown and Samantha Scaffidi reprised her role as Victoria Heyes. Joining them in the bloodbath were Lauren LaVera, Sarah Voigt, Kailey Hyman, Casey Hartnett, Elliot Fullam and Felissa Rose.

Leone also teased another original horror project he hopes to bring to fruition–one he is developing with Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures. “If that happens, that would be amazing,” he said. “I’m really hoping it could happen before Terrifier 3–or it might happen right after. We’ll see.”
