Creepers–a new horror flick from Lionsgate and Suretone Pictures set in a supposedly abandoned hotel–has started production in Bulgaria with a full cast in place, according to a report on Deadline.
The film–based on the David Morrell horror novel of the same name–is helmed by Marc Klasfeld, who is making his feature film directorial debut. “We have assembled a truly amazing cast, who share my passion for this one-of-a-kind horror-adventure story,” he said. “I find myself enormously excited to begin shooting.”
These new cast members include Jake Manley (playing Rick, the official leader of the Creeper), Adeline Rudolph (Rick’s girlfriend, Diane), Francesca Reale (parkour expert Cora), Laurence O’ Faurain (the mysterious Balenger), Nicholas Hamilton (Tod, leader of the Scavengers), Javier Botet (the supernatural Pale Creature), Skylan Brooks (the Creeper Vernon) and Kai Caster (the Scavenger JD).
Creepers follows a group of “young urban explorers who investigate an old, boarded-up, seemingly abandoned hotel, only to encounter danger at every turn from a competing group of hostile urban explorers seeking a legendary hidden treasure–and a supernatural being that wreaks havoc on all,” according to the synopsis.
