Ghostface has his eyes on her.
Filming on the next Scream must be moving right along. In fact, one of the legacy stars returning for this sixth installment–Courteney Cox–this week announced she has already wrapped shooting her Gale Weathers part in Vancouver, Canada. Scream 6 (if that’s what it will be called)–directed by the returning team of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett and written again by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick–also stars veterans Hayden Panettiere, Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and Jenna Ortega.
The newcomers in the cast this time around include Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra and Henry Czerny. As all fans know by now, longtime Final Girl Neve Campbell will not reprise her Sidney Prescott role. At least not for this film.
The movie–according to the short synopsis–follows “the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.” And it looks like they’re headed for the bright lights of Manhattan. Ghostface in Times Square?
