Could a ‘Child’s Play’ TV Series be in the works?

On Friday, legendary genre director, Don Mancini teased Child’s Play TV series via his Twitter account.  With the message “Do Not Adjust Your Set,” it certainly appears that Mancini, who has most recently worked on the series Channel Zero.  With this year marking the 30th anniversary of the release of Child’s Play, the notoriously demonic Chucky doll has survived six sequels, with the latest being 2017’s Cult of Chucky.

Originally released in 1988 Child’s Play starred Brad Dourif as Chucky and raked in $44.2 million dollars at the box office. The character quickly became a cult favorite and launched Child’s Play into a monster horror franchise.

While there are no details on the series, Mancini certainly piqued the interest of horror fans always looking for more of their favorite ‘Good Guy’ doll.  Horror News Network will keep you up to date as more details become available.
