Is that a drugged bear in the TV room?
Cocaine Bear–the surprise horror-comedy hit–will not only be available digitally April 14 and be on DVD and Blu-ray April 18, but it will also start streaming on Peacock April 14.
Since its theatrical release back in February, the Universal Pictures flick has raked in $64 million domestically and a cool $83 million worldwide.
The R-rated pic–loosely based on real-life events in 1985 Kentucky–is directed by Elizabeth Banks from a screenplay by Jimmy Warden.
The film stars Keri Russell, Ray Liotta, Margo Martindale, Aiden Ehrenreich, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Kristofer Hivju.
In the feature, a group of “cons, criminals, tourists and teens” converge on a Georgia forest where a 500-pound black bear has eaten “a staggering amount of cocaine–dropped by a drug smuggler–and has gone on a rampage for more drugs. And blood.”
