Our Thoughts: The biblically brutal boulder that is "Clive Barkers Next Testament" continues to mercilessly roll over and brutalize our imaginations. "Next Testament #3" starts you exactly where the previous issue left off, terrifyingly blood soaked. I must admit I was almost as relieved at the start of this issue as I was repulsed, to finally see the almighty Wick retaliate on those non-believing, pompous tycoon's. With every sarcastic, snide comment they would make to Wick only added more suspense as to when his wrath would strike. Believe me when I say "Clive Barker's Next Testament #3" is a violent hurricane of chaos that'll keep you on the edge of you seat from beginning to end. All the tension ‘Next Testament #2’ built up was released like an Old Testament plague in issue #3 through Barker and Miller’s ominous writing. Tristan and Elspeth are taking on a task not exactly known to be achieved or even attempted, trying to outsmart and run, God!

Haiem Jang's artistic visuals are nothing short of award winning and they truly translate Barker's artistically twisted imagination onto paper. After reading three issues of "Clive Barker's Next Testament" I am still in awe of how deep this comic book series has pulled me in. Then again, it is work produced by the same guy who involuntary makes me view "Candy Man" and "Lord of Illusions" time and time again.

"Next Testament #3" is the issue that officially pulled the lever on the blood gates that seemingly will soak this entire series. The team of Miller, Barker and Jang continue to create a tense filled world that has just tasted the initial wrath of what I would call a Godlike Terrorist, and my horror hungry side of the brain is quite thankful that this is only the beginning.
