“She is something, your Claudia.”
“Yes, a spark in the dark.”
Interview with the Vampire–the AMC adaptation of the iconic 1976 Anne Rose horror novel–will return for Season 2 sometime next year, but fans can now eyeball a teaser and several images from the next chapter. Check them out on this page.
In the new clip, Louis (Jacob Anderson) arrives at the estate of the family de la Croix with Claudia (Delainey Hayles)–and with the vampire Armand (Assad Zaman) as their guide. A violent feeding frenzy soon ensues, but Louis and Armand chat instead of chowing down.
The major difference from Season 1, according to Sam Reid (who plays Lestat, Louis’ maker), is that “they are apart now–and Louis has a new partner, Armand. We’ll find out a lot more about Armand and his backstory,” Reid told Entertainment Weekly.
“Armand is a really awesome character who has a lot of connections to a lot of vampires,” Reid added. “He’s very old. Finding out more about Armand–and Louis and Armand’s relationship–is exciting. It’s a wild ride. People are in for a real treat.”
The eight-episode second season–led by showrunner Rolin Jones–also stars Eric Bogosian as interviewer Daniel Molloy and Ben Daniels as Santiago.
