It’s no fun being sick.
The official trailer for Sick–from Blumhouse Productions and Miramax Films–dropped last week, and now a new clip has arrived as the film starts streaming on Peacock. Check out the video–courtesy of Syfy–on this page.
The new feature–produced and co-written by Kevin Williamson (of Scream fame)–is directed by John Hyams (Alone) from a screenplay co-written by Katelyn Crabb. Williamson described the film as “old school slasher meets modern twist.”
Set during a deadly pandemic that is “bringing the world to a halt,” the movie follows Parker (Gideon Adlon) and her best friend Miri (Bethlehem Million) who “decide to quarantine at the family lake house alone–or so they think,” according to the brief synopsis.
The film–co-produced by Bill Block and Ben Fast–also stars Marc Menchaca (The Outsider) and Jane Adams (Twin Peaks).
