Watch out–the doll is already sharpening his knives.

Chucky–the Syfy/USA hit series based on the Child’s Play film franchise–has officially been renewed for a third season, according to a report on Deadline. No debut window has yet been announced for Season 3.

And, while fans wait for the next season, they now can stream the Season 1 episodes on Shudder, as well as Peacock.

The series–to this point–has followed Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) as he “crosses paths with archenemies, old allies and new prey–as he seeks to inspire fear and mayhem wherever he goes,” according to the logline.

After his plans to invade the country’s children’s hospitals was foiled at the end of Season 1, the killer doll sought revenge against Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind)–along with his ex Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly).

In related news, series creator Don Mancini has also teased a possible crossover somewhere down the road with Chucky. No specific characters have been mentioned, but Mancini reportedly has had discussions with Universal about Chucky meeting up with one of that studio’s many horror legends.
