The doll is back. Heaven help us all.
Don Mancini–screenwriter of the iconic Child’s Play film franchise–took to social media this week to tease fans with short snippets of what they can expect from the upcoming Chucky TV series he created for the USA and Syfy networks, as reported by comingsoon.net.
One of the clips–seen on this page–teases the return of Child’s Play veterans Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly as they reprise their voice roles of Chucky and Tiffany Valentine. The second teaser offers a behind-the-scenes look at the series’ production and a glimpse at a new character (played by Zackary Arthur).

The new series–being shot now in Canada for its debut this fall–is set in an American town plagued by a series of terrifying murders that come on the heels of a vintage Chucky doll turning up at a suburban yard sale. A coincidence, no doubt.
Also featured in the series are Fiona Dourif, Devon Sawa, Lexa Doig, Barbara Alyn Woods, Teo Briones, Bjorgvin Arnarson, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Alex Vincent and Christine Elise McCarthy.
Child’s Play–written by Mancini and directed by Tom Holland–birthed six sequels, a 2019 reboot, comic books, a video game and tons of related merchandise. The franchise also took a nice bite out of the global box office, earning more than $182 million.
