Netflix unveiled the official trailer for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina today.
Based on the Horror Comic Award-winning series, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina tells the tale of Sabrina Spellman, a girl who is half witch/half mortal. When Sabrina turns 16 she must make a decision that will shape her future, become a full witch or pursue a mortal life.
Chilling Adventures stars Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina, and Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle.
From what we saw in the trailer, the Netflix series will have much more comedy than what was ever present in the comics. The comics featured a much darker tone and has long been described as “tonally in the vein of Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist.”
