John Kramer is back–but how?
To the delight of horror fans everywhere, it was previously reported that Tobin Bell will reprise his role as Jigsaw Killer John Kramer in the 10th film in the Saw franchise. A set photo of Bell in character can be seen on this page.

As fans know, John Kramer has been long dead in the Saw universe (or as dead as anyone can be in a horror franchise), so it’s unknown how he will reappear in this 10th film. Flashbacks? Resurrection? Stay tuned.
The Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures project is being directed by Kevin Greuter, who helmed Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter, from a screenplay by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger. The feature is slated for a theatrical release Oct. 27, 2023.
The original 2004 Saw–directed by James Wan from a screenplay by Leigh Whannell–stars Bell, Cary Elwes, Danny Glover and Monica Potter. The film revolves around the mystery of the Jigsaw Killer, who tests his victims’ wills to live by putting them through deadly “games” where they must inflict great physical pain upon themselves to survive.
The film–which received mixed reviews from critics–was a big hit with horror fans, raking in more than $100 million worldwide on a budget of just $1 million.
