Mackenzie Davis (The Martian, That Awkward Moment) has been added to the upcoming Blade Runner Sequel. She joins the cast which includes Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, and Carla Juri. No details have been releases about her character, as is the case with most of the casting details. Denis Villenueve is directing the film, which is scripted by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green. It is set to begin filming in July. The story continues several decades after the original 1982 Ridley Scott film. It will premiere October 6, 2017.
Guy Burnet (Ray Donovan) has been added to the cast of the Jacob’s Ladder re-imagining. David M. Rosenthal is directing the film, which will star Burnet as Hoffman, a pharmacist at the Veteran’s Administration who supplies Jacob with prescriptions. Jeff Buhler and Sarah Thorp have written the screenplay.
