That creepy hotel is getting a new visitor.
Shane Paul McGhie (After) will replace Skylan Brooks in the upcoming horror flick Creepers from Lionsgate and Suretone Pictures, according to a report on Deadline. No reason for the switch was revealed.
In the film, McGhie will play the Creeper Vernon, described as a “wisecracking tech nerd who is not doing a good job of hiding his feelings for parkour expert Cora (Francesca Reale).”
McGhie joins the previously announced Jake Manley (as Rick, leader of the Creepers), Adeline Rudolph (Diane), Laurence O’ Faurain (Balenger), Nicholas Hamilton (Tod, leader of the Scavengers), Javier Botet (the supernatural Pale Creature) and Kai Caster (the Scavenger JD).
The film–currently shooting in Bulgaria–is based on the David Morrell horror novel of the same name and is helmed by Marc Klasfeld in his feature film directorial debut.
Creepers follows a group of “young urban explorers who investigate an old, boarded-up, seemingly abandoned hotel, only to encounter danger at every turn from a competing group of hostile urban explorers seeing a legendary hidden treasure, as well as a supernatural being that wreaks havoc on everyone,” according to the synopsis.
