The players are in place for a new season of horror.
American Horror Story Season 11 will debut on FX this fall (no specific date has been announced yet), and an impressive list of cast members for the new season was announced this week, according to a report on Deadline.
The cast for the Ryan Murphy-led series includes AHS veterans Zachary Quinto, Billie Lourd, Isaac Powell and Patti LuPone, along with Sandra Bernhard, Joe Mantello and Charlie Carver.
One notable cast no-show–at least for the moment–is longtime luminary Sarah Paulson, who has indicated she may be ready to move on from the popular series. “Never say never,” Paulson said, “but I’m in this space of seeing what comes and not pre-planning. I’m experimenting.” So, stay tuned.
The Season 11 storyline has been shrouded in secrecy so far, but based on some of the costumes and exteriors already spotted, the show seems to be set in the 1970s or ’80s.
