To watch or not to watch. Time will tell.
Do Not Watch–an upcoming horror film that is shrouded in mystery at this early juncture–this week added four cast members, according to a report on Deadline.
Ezekiel Ajeigbe (The Giant), Alix Angelis (The Cleansing Hour), Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier) and Ella Cannon (Trees of Peace) have signed on for the thriller that is said to be a “decades-spanning mystery revolving around an unexplained phenomenon known as The Bunker Anomaly,” according to the brief logline. No other plot details have been forthcoming.
The film–which marks the feature directorial debut of cinematographer Justin Janowitz (Unsolved Mysteries)–was written by Ryan Toyama, who also serves as executive producer alongside James and Bo Colton, Jonathan Boateng, Javier C. Ortiz, Graeme Laronge, Jasson Walker and Skip Waugh.
Janowitz called the screenplay “one of the most interesting, compelling and intricate structures in the horror genre. The way the story weaves between the decades to build on the mythology is masterful.”
Producer J.P. Ouellette called horror films “just as prestigious as award-driven dramas if done with great detail,” adding that Janowitz executed a “meticulous directing plan based on one of the scariest scripts I’ve ever read.”
