The horrors here are all in the family.
Seance–a psychological thriller set in the 1890s–has lined up its main cast, according to a report on Deadline. No production schedule or release window has yet been announced.
The cast for the horror pic–from writer/director Vivian Kerr (who also stars)–includes Scottie Thompson (NCIS), Connor Paolo (Gossip Girl) and Jilon VanOver (Better Call Saul).
The period piece follows a female novelist (Thompson) in 1890s California “who is contemplating having an affair with her first husband (VanOver), whose second wife (Kerr) claims to be haunted by her dead child,” according to the brief synopsis.
Paolo plays Thompson’s current husband, described as “a struggling portrait painter with secrets of his own.” Sounds like one convoluted horror tale.
