Carnage Comes To “Life” With New Bust From Queen Studios

by Thomas Tuna

Now, this will definitely shake up your wall of horror collectibles.

Queen Studios this week unveiled a frightening companion piece to its life-size Venom bust–announced last month here in Horror News Network. This new piece of art is a life-size bust of the deranged Carnage, modeled after the symbiote’s look in the Marvel Comics’ Ultimate Carnage story arc.

Photos of the realistic bust, courtesy of news.toyark.com, can be seen on this page. Check out the 29.5-inch tall bust on its themed pedestal base. The work of horror art–cast in polystone–will be limited to just 536 pieces and is priced at $1,480. Carnage will be available in the second quarter of 2022.

As fans of VenomLet There Be Carnage know, serial killer Cletus Kasady transformed into Carnage after mixing blood with Eddie Brock (Venom’s host) during a prison break. The symbiote magnified Kasady’s psychotic nature, making him less mentally stable and more dangerous. To say the very least.

The Marvel Comics Venom character was introduced as a living alien costume back in 1984 in The Amazing SpiderMan No252, and had his first full appearance in issue No. 300 of that same comic book. Carnage made his debut in The Amazing SpiderMan No361 (1992).
