Anyone up for pizza tonight?

Five Nights at Freddy’s–the big screen take on the horror video game–has finally started shooting in New Orleans under the working title Bad Cupcake, and the news comes straight from the horse’s mouth–producer Jason Blum. Check out Blum’s Twitter post–complete with a set photo–on this page.

The film–directed by Emma Tammi from a screenplay she wrote with game creator Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback–stars Matthew Lillard, Josh Hutcherson and Mary Stuart Masterson.

The video game follows a night security guard who starts his job at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, but who may not live to regret his career choice. The usually cuddly animatronic animals that children love during the day become something else entirely at night.

And those animatronic creatures will be brought to cinematic life by the artisans at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
