The immortal bloodsuckers are back.

Production has started on the second season of Interview with the Vampire, the AMC small-screen take on the Anne Rice horror classic.

Check out the photo of a clapboard on set with the caption, “Sois pret <Get ready>–production of Season 2 of Interview with the Vampire has begun.” The series is currently filming in Prague, with plans in place to shoot in Paris and New Orleans.

As reported, one big change this season is Delainey Hayles taking over the key role of the child vampire Claudia from the departing Bailey Bass. Hayles joins the returning Jacob Anderson (Louis de Pointe du Lac), Sam Reid (Lestat de Lioncourt), Eric Bogosian (Daniel Molloy), Assad Zaman (Armand) and Ben Daniels (Santiago).

The eight-episode second season–led by showrunner Rolin Jones–will continue Rice’s epic vampire saga that follows Lestat, Louis and Claudia in a tale of “love, blood and the perils of immortality, as told to journalist Daniel Molloy.”
