There’s not enough makeup in the world for this cast of characters.
The latest in a long line of posts from Rob Zombie this week shows the Big Three of The Munsters feature film getting fussed over by makeup artists as they prepare for the next shot on their Budapest set. Check out the behind-the-scenes peek–courtesy of movieweb.com–on this page.

The three leads–Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily and Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa–are seen in front of their fancy digs at 1313 Mockingbird Lane. Not seen are the rest of the cast–Richard Brake as Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang, Jorge Garcia as Floop, Sylvester McCoy as Igor, Catherine Schell as Zoya Krupp and Cassandra Peterson (out of her iconic Elvira attire) as real estate agent Barbara Carr.
And no, there still is no word about whether son Eddie or niece Marilyn will appear in this film remake of the ’60s TV series. Only Zombie knows–and he ain’t talking. Yet.
The PG-rated movie–a first for the flamboyant filmmaker/musician–is expected to have a day-and-date release in theaters and on Peacock sometime later this year.
The Munsters TV series–which ran on CBS for 70 episodes from 1964-1965– starred Fred Gwynne as Herman, Yvonne De Carlo as Lily and Al Lewis as Grandpa, along with Butch Patrick as Eddie and Beverley Owen (later replaced by Pat Priest) as Marilyn.
