A hit horror comic book series is celebrating in style.

Something Is Killing the Children–the acclaimed title from BOOM! Studios–will reach issue No. 25 next month, and a special oversized comic will mark the occasion. Check out the various covers for the issue–courtesy of comicbook.com–on this page.

The Eisner Award-nominated title–chosen as Horror News Network’s Best Series of the Year in 2020–follows Erica Slaughter in her struggles against monstrous forces. The special 25th issue will find “the first arc of Erica’s mission in Tribulation reaching its shocking conclusion,” according to the synopsis.

While Erica’s blades are occupied with “an entity unlike anything she’s ever faced, she receives a phone call…with tragedy on the other end of the line. As things look dire, someone Erica once saved may have to find unexpected help to return the favor.”

Something Is Killing the Children No. 25–from writer James Tynion IV, artist Werther Dell’Edera, colorist Miquel Muerto and letterer AndWorld Design–will hit comic book shops and digital storefronts July 27.

The variant covers for this special issue were rendered by Jenny Frison (Wonder Woman), Peach Momoko (Power Rangers), J.G. Jones (Wanted, Final Crisis) and Jeehyung Lee (Venom).
