Blumhouse is teaming up with Boom! Studios to develop Curse, a werewolf drama based on the graphic novel of the same name. The book was written by Michael Moreci (Roche Limit) and Tim Daniel (Enormous) and illustrated by Colin Lorimer and Riley Rossmo. Jason Blum (Blumhouse) is producing with Ross Richie and Stephen Christy (Boom! Studios).
The story follows a desperate, broke, widowed father who is trying to save his child from a rare illness. Deciding to capture a killer for a bounty, he accidentally capture a werewolf, who will either become the family’s destroyer or reluctant savior.
Adam Yoelin (Boom! Studios) is executive producing the film.
