The third 10-episode season of Evil–created by Robert and Michelle King–debuts June 12, and will highlight the romance between newly ordained David (Mike Colter) and Kristen (Katja Herbers) as the pair “not only have to navigate this new reality, but contend with David’s  involvement with ‘the entity’–an espionage unit within the Catholic Church,” according to the synopsis.

Meanwhile, Ben (Assif Mandvi) “finds his brain breaking from their unsolved cases and turns to his sister for help.” The show also stars Patrick Brammall as Kristen’s husband Andy, Christine Lahti as Kristen’s mother Sheryl and Michael Emerson as the villainous Leland.

The series–well-received by critics and fans–has already been nominated for Critics’ Choice Super Awards for Best Horror Series, Best Actor and Best Actress.
