Bill Oberst Jr. Signs on to Scream at the Devil

Bill Oberst Jr, one of the hardest working men in horror, has signed on to "Scream at the Devil" due out later this year.

Synopsis: Miriam Jones is a landscape and portrait artist who suffers from schizophrenia, after a brief hospitalization she has returned to 'normal life' with the help of medication. Estranged from her husband Gabriel because of an affair with a much younger woman , Mirium travels alone to a land of her dreams. Sad and lost, she finds herself in a Basilica where she comes face to face with a frightening image of Satan that seems to speak to her… and her alone. Back in Los Angeles, she reunites with her husband and they set out to begin a new life together in a new home, isolated in the forest many miles from any town or city. But strange images begin to haunt Miriam. Gabriel, frustrated by her refusal to take her medications, begins to drink heavily and finally, after a violent altercation, leaves. In the ensuing days terrifying manifestations of demons increasingly drive Mirium to the edge of sanity.
