Marvel announced today that Benedict Cumberbatch, known for his role in the hugely popular ‘Sherlock’ series, will play Doctor Strange in the upcoming film of the same name. Scott Derrickson, known for ‘Sinister’ and most recently ‘Deliver Us From Evil’, is directing the film, which is based off the original 1960’s series by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
