Behind-The-Scenes Look At ‘The Boogeyman’ Before Digital Debut

by Thomas Tuna

How does it feel to lead a Stephen King movie?

The Boogeyman–the film adaptation of the Stephen King 1978 short story that has enjoyed a successful theatrical run–hits digital tomorrow (and gets a Bu-ray release Oct. 10), and a behind-the-scenes clip highlighting star Chris Messina has dropped. Check out the video–courtesy of Screen Rant–on this page.

The horror pic–directed by Rob Savage from a screenplay by Mark Heyman–also stars David Dastmalchian, Marin Ireland, Vivien Lyra Blair, Madison Hu and Sophie Thatcher.

The Boogeyman follows high school student Sadie Harper and her kid sister Sawyer, who are trying to recover from the death of their mother–and getting little support from their father.

Unfortunately, things get even worse when a man shows up at their house, bringing with him “a terrifying entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.”
