Beetlejuice 2 in the works

A new production deal at Warner Bros. may result in a second life for “Beetlejuice.” According to Deadline.com, David Katzenberg’s and Seth Grahame-Smith’s KatzSmith Productions has signed a first-look deal with the studio. Among the first projects the duo reportedly will work on is a sequel to “Beetlejuice,” the 1988 supernatural comedy hit directed by Tim Burton and starring Michael Keaton in the title role. The film will not be a remake, but a reboot that advances the storyline of the original.
