Be A Dinosaur Dinner In ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’

If you ever REALLY wanted to be part of a huge horror movie franchise–and get a chance to test your nerves–then the next Jurassic World entry may be for you.

Chris Pratt–who returns as Owen Grady in next year’s Jurassic World: Dominion–announced a one-of-a-kind raffle and auction that will land two lucky fans “inside” a hungry dino in the movie, according to MovieWeb.com.

And this is all for a great cause as well. All proceeds from the “All In Challenge” will help fight hunger, going directly to Feeding America, Meals on Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry. The challenge’s official website reported it had raised more than $25 million as of this writing.

The website announced this exciting contest by saying that the two fortunate winners “will experience the opportunity to be ‘eaten by a dinosaur’. See how ‘life finds away’ by going all in and winning a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the film. Feel like you are part of the ‘Jurassic World’ franchise when you win this dino-mite film experience!”

Pratt–who also has intergalactic fun as Star-Lord in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy franchise–took to Instagram to alert fans to this chance for cinematic immortality.

“You are guaranteed to be recognizable, not cut out of the movie, absolutely in the movie forever, your legacy, forever eaten by a dinosaur in the movie,” Pratt posted.

The details? For the raffle, $10 gets you 10 entries, $25 is good for 25 entries, $50 gets you 100 entries and $100 comes with 200 entries. If you have very deep pockets and want in on the auction, the winner will be the person with the highest bid.

Aside from all that, additional details about the film itself were released. Isabelle Sermon reportedly will return to the franchise as Maisie Lockwood after a short absence, and she and Pratt will join such Jurassic Park alumni as Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill in the new film. Colin Trevorrow will sit in the director’s chair.

Pratt even dropped a hint or two about the movie, likening it to a recent Marvel moneymaker. “It feels kind of like Avengers: Endgame. It’s got pretty much everybody in it. It’s going to feel very much like how Endgame brought everything together with Marvel.”

The film–which had started production before the COVID-19 crisis forced a temporary shutdown–has a tentative release date of June 11, 2021.
