Set another place around the MonsterVerse table.

The upcoming MonsterVerse Apple TV+ series–which continues the epic saga of Godzilla and the Titans on the small screen–this week signed another cast member, according to a report on Deadline.

Mari Yamamoto (Pachinko) has been cast in an undisclosed role, joining Anna Sawai (F9), Ren Watabe (461 Days of Bento), Kiersey Clemons (Flatliners), Joe Tippett (Mare of Easttown) and Elisa Lasowski (Burnt)–along with the father-son duo of Kurt  Russell (The Thing) and Wyatt Russell (Overlord).

The as-yet untitled Legendary Pictures show–still without a debut date–picks up after the battle between Godzilla and the Titans, as a family investigates the secrets that leveled San Francisco, explores the implications that monsters really do exist and uncovers a secret organization called Monarch.

The first two episodes will be directed by Emmy Award nominee Matthew Shakman (WandaVision). Showrunners Matt Fraction (Hawkeye) and Chris Black also serve as executive producers, alongside Hiro Matsuoka and Talemasa Arita.
