Can you hear it? That’s horror.
They Listen–a new horror pic from Blumhouse Productions and Sony Pictures–may be keeping its storyline under wraps, but this week another actor joined the cast before its summer debut, according to a report on Deadline.
Lukita Maxwell (Shrinking) will work alongside stars John Cho (the current Star Trek franchise) and Katherine Waterston (the Fantastic Beasts franchise) on the feature led by writer/director Chris Weitz (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story).
Maxwell reportedly will play the daughter of Cho and Waterston’s characters. The film will hit theaters Aug. 25.
They Listen is produced by Jason Blum, Weitz and Andrew Miano–with Bea Sequeira, Dan Balgoyen, Britta Rowings and Paul Davis serving as executive producers.
